About The Bayeux Tapestry
A 70 meter long embroidered cloth depicting the Norman Conquest. Not actually a tapestry but needlework. Contains 632 people, 202 horses, 55 dogs, and over 500 other animals. Shows Halleys Comet, confirmed by astronomical records. Over 50 scenes tell the story from the Norman perspective.
