About Freedom from Want

One of Four Freedoms paintings inspired by Roosevelts speech. Shows an idealized American Thanksgiving dinner. The painting was used to sell war bonds during WWII. The models were Rockwells neighbors in Vermont. The empty plates symbolize the abundance of freedom.
