About The Hunters in the Snow
One of the most beloved winter landscapes in art history. Three hunters return with their dogs, empty-handed. Villagers skate and play on the frozen ponds below. The composition leads the eye through a vast frozen landscape. Part of the same months series as The Harvesters.
