About The Lightning Field
400 polished steel poles arranged in a grid over 1 mile by 1 kilometer. The poles attract lightning during storms. Each pole is about 6 meters tall with pointed tips. Intended to be experienced over 24 hours. Located in remote New Mexico desert. Permits are limited to 6 visitors at a time.
