About Weather Project
A giant artificial sun installed in the Tate Modern Turbine Hall. Over 2 million visitors came to see it, many lying on the floor. The ceiling was covered in mirrors creating an illusion of infinite space. Used mono-frequency sodium lamps that turn everything yellow or black. The most visited contemporary art installation in Tate history.
