About Saturn Devouring His Son
One of Goyas Black Paintings, never meant for public display. Painted directly on the walls of his farmhouse. Depicts the Titan Cronus eating one of his children. Goya was deaf, isolated, and possibly mentally ill when he painted it. Transferred to canvas 50 years after his death.
