About The Bedroom
Depicts van Goghs bedroom in the Yellow House in Arles. He painted three versions. The tilted perspective was deliberate, not a mistake. The sparse furniture shows his simple lifestyle. He painted it from memory while in the hospital. The colors were meant to suggest restful sleep.
