About The Kiss (Rodin)
Depicts Paolo and Francesca from Dantes Inferno, caught in eternal passion. Originally part of The Gates of Hell. The book in the mans hand identifies the literary source. Three marble versions exist. The couple does not actually touch lips, forever suspended before the kiss.
