About The Tower of Blue Horses
A masterpiece of German Expressionism. Four blue horses dominate the composition. Confiscated by the Nazis as degenerate art. Last exhibited in 1949, then disappeared. Some believe it is in a private collection in Switzerland. The color blue represented spirituality to Marc.
